Purpose and access
Koda is a personal assistant operated by Ruben Brandão. It helps with questions, planning, saved context, reminders, and tasks through conversation and authorized connections to other services.
Access to the assistant is limited to its owner. This website provides information about the project; it does not offer public registration or access to the assistant.
Connected accounts and actions
Connected accounts require the account holder's authorization. The owner can revoke Google access at any time in Google Account connections.
Koda uses details supplied in conversation and saved preferences to carry out requested actions, such as creating calendar events or reminders. Gmail and Google Tasks access is read-only. The owner should check dates, details, and results when a plan is important.
Responsible use
Use Koda only with accounts and information you are authorized to access. Do not use it to access another person's information or change their events without permission.
Koda's responses can contain mistakes or misunderstandings, and actions can fail. A conversation with the assistant does not itself confirm a booking with another person or organization.
Availability
Koda depends on the owner's device, network connection, authorization, and connected services being available. This personal project does not provide a service-level guarantee or uninterrupted operation.
Reminders and occasional check-ins depend on configured delivery windows, frequency limits, and the connected messaging service. Delivery can be delayed when these conditions are not met.
Third-party services
Google, OpenAI, messaging providers, and web-search providers used with Koda operate their own services under their respective terms. Their availability, authorization requirements, and policies can affect Koda.
